I have been learning more and more about the connection between what goes on in the gut and what it happening in the mind. I am currently going through Dr. Axe’s program to continue to support the work I have already done to be healthy in my gut and in my mind. When the systems in our bodies are not functioning properly, it can be easy to succumb to mental and emotional stress. As my last post mentioned, finding root causes in the body and mind and then knowing what to do about them is the way to overcome depression and anxiety.
Watch this 7 minute Youtube video where Dr. Axe explains what leaky gut is and the 7 foods to eat to support better gut health. Let this idea grow and sprout. Choose just one of the 7 foods that Dr. Axe suggests and consistently incorporate it for one week. Do you notice anything? Then incorporate another of the foods and continue until you are doing better with all seven.
